İzlenecek kurallar
Sığınmacılar, ağırlama merkezi kurallarına riayet etmelidir.
Ağırlama merkezine ulaştıktan sonra, bir görevli size merkezin nasıl çalıştığını ve uymanız gereken kuralları anlatacaktır. Size, tüm kuralları anlatan bir doküman verecekler: İç Yönetmelik. Bu doküman birçok dilde mevcuttur. Bu dokuman oldukça yararlıdır ve içerdiği bilgileri tam olarak anlamanız önemlidir.
Kurallar, yeri temiz ve düzenli tutmanızı mümkün kılar. Yönetmelik aynı zamanda konukların güvenliğini sağlamayı ve binaya giren ve binadan çıkan kişilerin kontrol altında tutulmasını mümkün kılmaktadır.
Şikâyetler
İç Yönetmelik, ağırlama yerindeki yaşam şartlarınızda sizi rahatsız eden bir şey varsa ağırlama yerindeki sorumlu şikâyet yetkilisine nasıl şikâyette bulunabileceğinizi de açıklar.

Yaptırımlar
Kurallara uymazsanız, ağırlama merkezinin yöneticisi size yaptırım uygulayabilir. Size verilen yaptırımın haksız olduğunu düşünürseniz, karar aleyhinde başvuruda bulunabilirsiniz.
Yaptırımlar ve başvurular, İç Yönetmelikte açıklanmıştır. Sosyal hizmet uzmanınız da size bu kuralları açıklayabilir.
No violence or weapons
The use of violence is prohibited both inside and outside the reception centre. Knives, stabbing weapons or objects that can be used as weapons are prohibited.
The staff of the reception centre can check your room and cupboard to enforce this prohibition. Knives and stabbing weapons will always be confiscated. You will not get them back when you leave.
If you break the rules, you risk a severe penalty: transfer to another reception centre, exclusion from the reception network or prosecution by the police. The reception centre may also pass on certain information to the police and other competent (government) services.
If you have dangerous objects with you when you arrive at a reception centre, you must report them to a member of staff. The reception centre will take the dangerous objects into custody.
Sanctions
If you do not follow the rules, the director of the reception centre may give you a sanction. If you do not agree with the sanction you have received, you can appeal against the decision.
Sanctions and appeals are explained in the House Rules. Your social worker can also explain these rules.
Complaints
The House Rules also explain that if you do not agree with your living conditions in the reception location, you can lodge a complaint with the responsible complaints officer at your reception location.
