Belgium considers some countries to be 'safe' because the inhabitants generally live in safety there.
What is a 'safe' country?
It is a country where you can be sent back because you are safe there. If you come from a country considered to be safe, the CGRS (CGRA/CGVS) will process your application for protection more quickly.
